Brendan Dorricott

Brendan Dorricott

Executive General Manager

Brendan joined RCR Mining Technologies in May 2021 as Executive General Manager.

Before joining RCR, Brendan had 20 years of experience in the mining, mineral processing, and infrastructure industries. Brendan has held engineering, project management, and business management positions in consulting, contracting, and owner organisations across Australia.

Elia Khoury

Head of Engineering

Elia commenced with RCR in November 2007. Since joining the company, he has held numerous roles including Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, Assistant Project Manager of a major EPC project, Engineering Manager, and currently Head of Engineering. Elia holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) (Hons) from the University of Western Australia and is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) administered by Engineers Australia.

Alister MacPherson

Alister MacPherson

Head of Strategy, Growth & Innovation

Alister joined RCR in November 2022 as Product Delivery Manager and became Head of Strategy, Growth, and Innovation in August 2024. With 30 years of experience in the resource and equipment supply sectors, Alister has led transformative initiatives in mining automation, technology, and asset management.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) with First Class Honours from Curtin University and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. In 2023, he completed the Oxford Artificial Intelligence Programme.

Neville Kelly

Head of Customer Solutions & Advanced Technologies

Neville joined RCR in March 2011, bringing more than 30 years of experience across the industrial, mining, rail, defence, and renewable energy sectors. His career spans technical, design and commercial leadership roles within national and international organisations, with a strong focus on original equipment manufacturing (OEM), complex engineered systems, and long-life asset delivery. Neville works across multiple sectors, helping clients translate operational requirements into practical, engineered solutions that perform safely and reliably in demanding environments. Neville combines deep direct engineering experience with strategic business leadership. He holds a Trade Certificate in Plant Mechanics, a Diploma in Hydraulic Engineering and an Honours Degree in Business from the University of Western Australia, enabling him to bridge engineering execution with commercial outcomes.

Shane Royston

Shane Royston

Head of Business Services

Shane joined RCR in April 2023. As Head of Business Services, he leads the Commercial & Contracts, Supply Chain, Quality and Business Assurance, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Training & Development functions.

With over 20 years of business leadership experience across the mining, refining, and oil and gas industries, Shane’s career has taken him to remote residential sites in both Australia and Africa, and he has also held senior FIFO and corporate functional leadership roles.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University, a Diploma of Management, and a Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain and Logistics Management from RMIT University.

Shane is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS).

Kim Beardsell

General Manager – Operations

Kim joined RCR in 2025 as GM Operations APAC. He is an accomplished business and operational leader with over 20 years of experience delivering major projects and driving transformative change across construction, rail, and asset management. Having held senior roles both in Australia and the United States, Kim excels in optimising resources, enhancing operational performance, and building high‑performing teams that deliver reliably and efficiently. He has a strong record in strategic innovation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement across complex environments. Kim is a member of Engineers Australia and holds the professional credentials FIEAust, CPEng, EngExec, NER, APEC Engineer, and IntPE (Aus).

HSE Manager

Steve joined RCR in January 2026 as HSE Manager with more than 35 years of experience across the processing and construction industries. His career includes senior production and leadership roles in alumina refining, as well as significant HSE leadership across major construction projects in Australia and internationally. He has contributed to projects in the United States, Italy, Mozambique, and Sweden, developing deep expertise in safety, risk, and operational performance. He holds a Master of Occupational Health and Safety and a Master of Business Administration.

HR Manager

Ashleigh was appointed HR Manager in September 2024 and has over 15 years of experience spanning the retail, mining, and manufacturing sectors. She specialises in employee engagement, leadership development, people strategy, and industrial relations, with a strong record of shaping high‑performance cultures. Her work across remote Western Australia, Perth, and Zambia has strengthened her strategic approach to workforce capability and organisational development. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing and Public Relations), a Master of Human Resource Management, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Ruth Wilson

Principal - Strategy & Engagement

Ruth Wilson

Principal - Strategy & Engagement

Ruth joined RCR in June 2025 as Principal – Strategy & Engagement. She brings more than 12 years of experience in organisational development and workforce strategy across the health, government, and mining sectors. Her background includes working in complex service environments and developing deep capability in performance improvement, team effectiveness, and organisational alignment. At RCR, Ruth strengthens the connection between people, strategy, and performance to support effective and sustainable outcomes. She holds a Bachelor of Business (Management and Human Resources), a postgraduate qualification in Positive Psychology, and is Prosci‑certified in Change Management.
